“In most modern townhouses, the bedrooms and balconies will be separated from the kitchen and the alfresco will be connected to the living area. A lot of new townhouses across South East Queensland also offer a low maintenance courtyard," says Megan.

Megan says a good example of a development being built next to parkland is the Two-Five Barrymore development at Everton Park. “In a complex of only 6 new townhouses 8kms from Brisbane city, it is located on a quiet street with access to Kedron Brook walk-way, bike path, creek-side parks, picnic facilities and barbecues.” These architecturally designed homes boast three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, balconies and lock up garages.
